Williamson's first NCLL play-off game in four years did not turn out the way they had hope as the Mechanics came out on the short end of a 9-3 score against St. Joseph's University on Saturday afternoon in West Chester.

Williamson found themselves down 3-1 at the end of the first period.  A goal as time expired at the end  of the second quarter put the Hawks up 5-2 at half and Williamson was never able to recover from there.  St. Joe's advanced to take on host West Chester in the Liberty Division finals, a game they lost to the Rams, 8-7 in overtime.  West Chester had advanced to the finals by beating Rowan earlier in the day, 13-9.

Despite the loss for Williamson, it was a much-improved season over last year.  Williamson finished the year 6-3, with their only regular season losses coming to now back-to-back NCLL Final Four participant West Chester and CCBC-Essex, one of the top junior college programs in the country.

Seniors John Yentch (SR/Ridley Park, PA), Josh Dardeen (SR/Brookhaven, PA) and Brandon Deeck (SR/Media, PA) closed out outstanding careers for Williamson on Saturday.  First year senior Brandon Williams (SR/Aston, PA) also gradautes. Yentch, Kevin Kelly (FR/Woodlyn, PA) and Rob Magee (JR/Wallingford, PA) each scored a goal for Williamson, while Anthony Mariani (JR/Warrens, NY) added 14 saves in net for the Mechanics.
