Men's Tennis - Sun, May 7, 2017

Four Williamson tennis players all lost in the semi-final round of the 2017 NJCAA Region XIX Men's Tennis tournament and were eliminated from the tournament in West Windsor, NJ.

Ryan Haines (JR/Aston, PA), who became the first player in school history to make the semi-final round of the tournament in Singles two straight years, Joe Marchozzi (JR/Conshohocken, PA) and David Derby (FR/Pitman, NJ) all lost in straight sets in singles.  Haines and Isaac Eshenour (FR/Shippensburg, PA) lost in straight sets in Doubles to bring to a conclusion the most successful season in Williamson history.

Bolstered by outstanding play from team MVPs Chris Smith (FR/Tullahoma, TN) and John Coleman (FR/Chichester, PA) at First and Second Singles, Williamson won the 2017 EPAC championship and was competitive in all their losses.  While the loss of Haines and Marchozzi to graduation will be big losses, there is plenty of talent returning for Williamson to improve and be even better next season.
