Williamson’s Overwatch Gold Team Dominates in Opener

The Williamson College of the Trades Overwatch Gold team took on Roanoke College and dominated from start to finish, in a 3-0 triumph that gave the college it's first ever victory in the new sport of Esports. Williamson's Overwatch Blue team lost a 3-2 heartbreaker to Champlain College.

"I'm super excited for the guys and the way they performed tonight, " shared Williamson head coach Nick "Sauce" Mariani. "Our guys have been working hard and their hard work paid off tonight. We can't wait for our next match."

The members of the college's contest winning Overwatch Gold team are: Michael Byers, Jacob Newlin, Robert Kellum, Kaiah Cruz, Desmond Johnson and Nathan Meyers
