MEDIA, Pa. - Trailing by four goals after 15 minutes, the Williamson College of the Trades lacrosse team rallied for an 11-10 win against Delaware Technical CC.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Anthony Zollo, Rob Wagner and Hayden McGinnis each had two goals.
- Zollo also had three assists for a five point game.
- Chase Staley, Brodie Marshbank, Quinn Kennedy, Martin Makjer and Kaseem Cotton each found the back of the net.
- Colin Wintrode made 17 saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Delaware Tech took a quick 5-1 lead in less than 11 minutes and scored again with one second left in the first, holding a 6-2 lead after the opening quarter.
- Wiliamson rallied in the second as goals by Cotton, Marshbank, Staley and Zollo each scored, cutting the lead to 8-6 at halftime.
- After DTCC took a 9-7 lead, McGinnis tallied his goals just six seconds apart, tying the game at 9-9.
- With just under seven minutes to go in the third, Maker found rope to give the Mechanics their first lead of the game.
- Wagner scored at the 12:26 mark of the fourth to give WT the goal that put the game away.
