Mechanics Run at Dickinson Long-Short XC Invitational

CARLISLE, Pa. - The Williamson College of the Trades cross country team made the trip to Central Pennsylvania to run in the Dickinson Long-Short XC invitational on Saturday morning. The Mechanics placed sixth out of 14 teams in the 4k race and 16th in the 8k.

In the 4k men's race, Chase Ely placed fourth in the 107 runner field with a time of 11:51.7. Also in the top half of the field were Conan DeBruyn, who came in 51st with a time of 14:15.5.

The 8k race saw Bryan Hernandez lead WT with his time of 28:36.5, ranking 38th in the 164 runner field.

Williamson is back in action next Saturday, October 4, when it runs at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by Cairn. Race time from Langhorne, Pa. is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
