Hernandez Named Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area
PHILADELPHIA - Bryan Hernandez of the Williamson College of the Trades cross country team has been named to the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area team as announced on Thursday. The Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team is voted on by the athletic communications offices of 30 institutions in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Hernandez was the USCAA National Runner of the Year and led the Mechanics to a fourth place national team finish. He placed eighth at nationals with a time of 29:47.7. Hernandez was also a 2024 USCAA All-American an. In the classroom, Hernandez has a 3.93 in Electrical.
In order to be eligible, student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30, be a starter or key reserve on their team, and be in at least their second year at their institution.
