Wrestling Downs Monmouth, Delaware
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. - Williamson traveled to north on Saturday to take on Monmouth and Delaware. The Mechanics claimed both matches handily, beating the Hawks 54-6 and the Blue Hens 46-13 to remain undefeated in conference action at 4-0.
Against Monmouth, the Mechanics won 10 of 11 matches.
For the double dual meet, Neven Fix led four Williamson wrestlers who went 2-0 on the fay, securing two falls with both coming on first period pins.
Nurrideen Ahmad-Statts won with a pin and forfeit. Kylon Mitchell won both matches by forfeit
Jaden Thompson received a forfeit in his first match and then pinned his Monmouth opponent in the third period.
The Mechanics return to action on Saturday, December 6, traveling to Temple University to compete in the Owl Duals.
