MEDIA, Pa. – The Williamson College of the Trades soccer team got off to a hot start but a tough second half saw the Manor Blue Jays come away with a 6-1 win on Monday night.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Alexander Ashjian scored for the second consecutive contest.
- Matthew Burget posted his first assist of the season.
- Aaron O'Keeffe made eight saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Williamson jumped on the board first in the 13th minute when Ashjian pounced on a loose ball off a shot from Burget, giving the Mechanics a 1-0 lead.
- Manor tied the game late in the first half.
- Opening the second, the Blue Jays tilted the field in their favor and pulled away as the half went on.
UP NEXT
It is a short turnaround for the Mechanics who take on Central Penn on Wednesday, October 15. Opening Tap is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
