MEDIA, Pa. - The Williamson College of the Trades basketball team fought until the final buzzer, but was upended in a heartbreaker, 61-59 at Delaware County Community College on Saturday.
NOTABLE
- Liam Rardin had a career game with 23 points and nine rebounds, going 4-for-9 from beyond the arc. He also had three steals.
- Taj Cobbs scored 18.
- Ronald Johnson pulled in 10 rebounds and tallied eight points.
- A'Jaad White hauled in 10 boards, continuing is streak of double-digit rebounds in every game this season.
- Trailing by seven with just over four minutes to go, the Mechanics went on an 8-0 run, capped by a three-pointer from Cobbs to take a 56-55 lead at the 2:09 mark. Unfortunately for WT, DCCC scored the final six points of the game.
