Basketball Wins Tight Battle with Bucks

MEDIA, Pa. - A'Jaad White had his fifth double-double of the season as the Williamson College of the Trades basketball team squeaked past Bucks County Community College, 62-60 on Tuesday. 

BY THE NUMBERS

• White had 16 points and 13 rebounds. He further filled the stat sheet with three assists, three blocks and two steals. 
• Ronald Johnson scored 13 for WT.
• Off the bench, Matt Flint netted a season-high six points.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Neither team held more than an eight-point lead in a defensive first half that saw both teams shoot under 34 percent with the Mechanics taking a 25-19 advantage into the locker room.
• Midway through the second stanza, a Flint trey gave WT its largest lead of the night to that point at 38-29. 
• Williamson expanded the edge to as much as 15 on a Johnson layup.
• BCCC battled back, eventually tying the contest at 57-57 with 1:17 remaining. 
• The Mechanics kept their composure, scoring back-to-back baskets from Liam Rardin and Johnson to hold on for the win.
