MEDIA, Pa. - The Williamson College of the Trades basketball team outscored Delaware County Community College by double digits in the second half, en route to a 79-64 win on Saturday afternoon.
BY THE NUMBERS
- A'Jaad White had a monster game wirh 25 points and 18 rebounds.
- Liam Rardin scored 15 with six rebounds and three blocks.
- Misael Santana tallied 16 and had nine boards.
- Ronald Johnson scored 11. Taj Cobbs had 10 off the bench.
- The Mechanics shot an eye-popping 89.7 percent (26-for-29) at the free theow line.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- A slowstart for Williamson saw DCCC open a 17-10 lead midway through the half as the Phantoms hit eight of their first 15 shots.
- Down 23-15 with 8:41 remaining in the half, the Mechanics went on a 16-6 run, taking their first lead since the opening basket of the game.
- The teams played evenly throughout the remainder of the first half with WT taking a 39-38 lead into the locker room.
- Opening the second frame, Williamson used a 15-4 run in the first five minutes of the half to open a lead it would not relinquish
