LANCASTER, Pa. - The Williamson College of the Trades basketball team held off a late rally as the Mechanics opened their season with a 61-58 win against Thaddeus Stevens Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon.
NOTABLE
- Taj Cobbs made his Williamson debut, leading the team with 20 points.
- Fellow freshman Misael Santana scored 15 while senior Liam Rardin netted nine.
- A'jaad White pulled down 12 rebounds.
- After the Mechanics led by eight at halftime, Stevens climbed back into the game. Matt Flint put the hopes of a comeback to rest with a big three-pointer, stopping a run and preserving the win.

Williamson plays its home opener on Tuesday, Novemver 4 when it hosts Penn State Lehigh Valley. Tipoff from the Restall Sports Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
