Game 1
Penn State Hazleton
Trailing the entire game until the bottom of the 6th inning, Williamson rallied on a 3-run home run by Cody Grande to take their first lead of the game, 7-6 heading into the final frame. Unfortunately for the Mechanics, they could not hold the lead, as allowed the Lions a single run in the seventh inning to send the game into a extra inning. Penn State Hazelton then added a two-run homerun in the top of the eight and shut Williamson down in the bottom of the frame to come away with a 9-7 victory.
Before rallying in the bottom of the sixth, Williamson trailed 6-2. They would get it to 6-4 before Grande's blast over the right field fence gave them their short-lived lead.
In addition to Grande's three RBIs, freshman Phil Martini added two hits a two RBIs for the Mechanics.
